Weird West is an action RPG set in a fictional version of the Wild West. There are many dangers to face on your journey. You can go it alone as one of five characters or form a posse. As you start with only one character, you may be wondering how to unlock characters in Weird West.
To unlock characters, you must complete the previous character's story. This journey will take you through several chapters, and at its conclusion, you will unlock the next character. Here are all the characters in Weird West and the order you unlock them in.

- Pigman
- Protector
- Werewolf
- Oneirist
Each character has unique abilities that only they can possess. In addition to this, you can unlock perks that will carry over to all of your characters. Finally, if you had unfinished business with one character, you may have the opportunity to complete that as another character.
Each character you play can be recruited to join your posse. This means that just because you are playing as a new character, you don't have to say goodbye to another after finishing their story.
