How does the Serpentine perk work in CoD Warzone?

Sprint to survive longer.

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a brand-new perk option with the Classified Arms Season 3 Reloaded update. First introduced into Vanguard Multiplayer with Season 1, the Serpentine perk was a free item unlockable via the Battle Pass. With the forthcoming mid-season update, the perk will be added to Warzone Pacific as well.

With the Serpentine perk equipped, the incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire is reduced by 20 percent while sprinting. This will indirectly increase the time-to-kill (TTK) and give players more time to react to and retaliate against enemy fire. On the other hand, enemy players will get a snake indicator while hitting someone with Serpentine equipped.

Since the Perk 1 slot has several great options such as Cold Blooded, E.O.D., Quick Fix, and Double Time, selecting Serpentine over those wouldn't be an easy choice for players. Regardless, for those of you who want to try out the new perk in Warzone, we've listed a good perk, weapon class, and equipment combination to equip it with in your loadout.
