Can you play Tribes of Midgard Offline?

If you are wondering if playing Tribes of Midgard offline is possible, the answer is no. In short, Tribes of Midgard is an online-only game as it runs on online-only servers. Because of this, if you want to play Tribes of Midgard at all, you must have an online connection. However, requiring an online connection does not mean you can not play solo or single player in Tribes of Midgard. 

Can you play Tribes of Midgard solo?

Playing Tribes of Midgard alone in a singleplayer/solo game is entirely possible. If you want to play singleplayer, you must select the solo option when choosing either Saga or Survival mode in the game. Playing singleplayer may be a more relaxed experience as monsters and various enemies are adjusted to be easier to fight as a solo player.

However, playing alone also has its disadvantages, primarily in Saga mode. In short, you will probably find yourself slightly overwhelmed during horde nights trying to defend your village in Saga Mode. You may also have problems gathering enough resources for upgrades before horde nights start. Because of this, we highly recommend considering getting some friends to play with you in Saga mode.

How to play with friends in Tribes of Midgard

If you want to play with friends in Tribes of Midgard, you must invite them to your party using the Invite option. You can find the invite option at the bottom right corner of your screen. Clicking the invite option will allow you to send an invite to one of your online friends. After sending an invite, your friends will need to join your party, and afterward, you all can play either Survival or Saga Mode in Tribes of Midgard.
