Will there be Splatoon 3 DLC?

Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter famous for its paint coloring action. It was an instant hit, so Nintendo already has plans for more content. I've already put many hours into Splatoon 3, but cannot wait for the DLC. DLC guarantee new weapons, modes, cosmetics, and much more. Let's look at Splatoon 3's DLC.

What can we expect from Splatoon 3 DLC?

Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3 will be giving fans two waves of DLC. Here's what is planned for these DLC waves so far:

Wave 1: Inkopolis

With this DLC, players can revisit Inkopolis, the hub from the first Splatoon game. In the trailer, an Inkling was shown taking an escalator from Splatsville down to Inkopolis. Most of the old shopkeepers will be making appearances, such as Shelly, who ran the old weapon store.

That being said, any weapons or gear that can be purchased in Inkopolis can also be purchased in Splatsville. Therefore, it's one shop, just two locations. Salmon Run, Table Turf Battle, The Show, and Amiibos will work the same as they would in Splatsville. The Squid Sisters will perform in Inkopolis during Splatfests. This wave will release in Spring 2023.

Wave 2: Side Order

Take on the Spire of Order, which is a single-player experience designed for players to play repeatedly. You will progress through the levels in a seemingly rogue-like system, where you level up and increase your skills. Side Order plans to release in Spring 2024.
