How to find a way across the broken bridge in Vanaheim in God of War Ragnarok

There are plenty of difficult puzzles in God of War Ragnarok for players to work through, even right from the start. One particularly tricky puzzle that players may find troublesome is the broken bridge puzzle in Vanaheim. You will encounter this shortly after helping Freya break the curse put on her by Odin. Below we explain how to cross it.

How to solve the Vanaheim broken bridge puzzle in God of War Ragnarok

When arriving at the location of the broken bridge, players should look to the lower left of the pit in front of them and locate the section of purple branches shown in the image above. Use Kratos' Blades of Chaos to clear them, causing the large crane in the center of the area to be freed.

After this, players should hit the spinner on the crane, turning it left until the jump point (shown in the image above) is between Kratos and the platform across the gap. Use the jump point to get to the other platform.

Once Kratos is on the other platform, players should use the Blades of Chaos again to swing the flaming bucket into the purple branches across the gap. In the image above, the branches have already been burned, but they are located at the arrow's tip. Once these branches are burnt, players can return to the original platform and jump across to progress.
