Best Team Build for Deadlock - Valorant Episode 7 Act 1
Team Composition 1
- KAY/O/Sova
- Deadlock
- Astra/Viper
- Raze
- Skye
The above lineup is highly potent on smaller maps with very closed areas. Use Raze and KAY/O to enter any site with appropriate smokes from Viper or Astra. For defending, make your Deadlock hold on-site with an initiator while the remaining people protect the other part.

Team Composition 2

- Sova/Skye
This is one of the most balanced team builds in the list, encompassing - one controller, one duelist, and two initiators with Deadlock. Like the previous build, even here, use Raze or Jett to enter sites with Fade, and for the defense half, make Deadlock guard one area while others fight out the other opposite region.
Best Maps: Fracture, Breeze, Ascent, Icebox, Split, and Bind.

People who have a lot of faith in their defensive half should try this ultra-defensive lineup with Deadlock and Killjoy. Deploy Deadlock in one bomb site while KillJoy guards the other and now tries to secure the most of the number of points in the Defensive half. For attack, read the movement of your enemies carefully and push together as a team to capture sites.

Similar to the third one, this one also has two sentinels. But instead of being a guarding sentinel to a base, this composition revolves around dynamic rotation based on information gathering. So, due to this, it's better suited for maps with three bomb sites. Keep Deadlock and Sage on extreme ends(A or C), with your remaining players as floaters on B. Rotate depending on the situation and information. For attack, send two players as decoys on any two sites while three of the remaining players concentrate on entering the target site each round.
Best Maps: Lotus and Haven.
