How to easily get a 3 Plate Armor Vest in MW3 Zombies

While dealing with hordes of Zombies, it's essential to suit up well and carry the best weapons. To increase your chances of survival in higher threat zones, the 3-Plate Armor Vest is a mandatory item, so here's how you can find it in MW3 Zombies.

How to find the 3 Plate Armor Vest in MW3 Zombies

The 3-Plate Armor Vest is a must-have equipment for your operator while dealing with undead creatures and mercenaries in medium and high-threat zones. Once equipped, the vest will allow your operator to wear up to three armor plates that enhance your defenses and your ability to take damage from Zombies and Mercenaries. While doing story missions, and boss fights in the high-tier areas of Urzikstan, it is wise to wear a 3-Plate Armor Vest.

The easiest way of acquiring a 3-Plate Armor Vest is to purchase it from Buy Stations in exchange for Essence. If you have 10,000 Essence, purchase it early from the Buy Stations located at the medium and high-threat zones. If you don't have the required Essence to purchase the vest, I recommend completing Contracts, taking over Strongholds, and searching Aether chests around the map.

Before you try to take on Mercenary Strongholds, remember to carry a Mercenary Stronghold Key which can be purchased for 2000 Essence from Buy Stations. Alternatively, you can visit and clear out a Mercenary Camp to obtain the key card from the Aether Chests.

Once you have the key, enter the Mercenary Strongholds, eliminate all the AI forces and Zombies, and look for the weapon stash, loot caches, and safes. The loot inside these buildings is likely to have 3-Plate Armor Vests.

I have noticed Hidden Caches located underwater and around the map tend to have brilliant loot like the 3-plate vest. You can also hunt down special Zombie enemies like Mangler, Mimic, Disciple, and Mega Abomination to get exceptional loot. I eliminated a Mega Abomination to get items like 3-Plate Armor Vest, Schematics, killstreaks, and Essence.
