Moogle Medal Locations (Map) in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

You might find a couple of areas you're missing here, too!

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is filled to the brim with spendable collectibles, with the emporium’s Moogle Medals being some of the most precious. It’s easy to miss them if you’re not avidly exploring the game, so here’s a quick guide to help you find them.

Where to find Moogle Medals in FF7 Rebirth (World map)

Aside from the locations on this list, you’ll probably find a ton of Medals as you’re exploring through story dungeons. For example, Mythril Mine has at least two areas where you can find them. These are just the ones I know you can check back for when you’re lacking in resources.

Towers

The continental towers are built with a lot of ladders you can climb. Once you reach the top of them, you can destroy whatever Shinra branded boxes you can find for Moogle Medals. Not every Tower will have Moogle Medals, but there are more of them that do than don’t.

Mog Houses

You can play Moogle Mischief again in Mog houses to earn yourself some Moogle Medals.

Moogle Medal locations in the Grasslands

Bill’s Ranch

This Moogle Medal can be found in a treasure chest on Bill’s farm. Climb the ladder left of Chloe’s desk and open the chest on the upper floor

Forgotten Treads

To the left of Bill’s Ranch, look for an abandoned war machine. It’ll have chests and some Moogle Medal boxes.

Mako Pipe Junction

From Kalm, ride your Chocobo west towards Midgar. Examine this area around the big pipe that leads out of the city. There’s a box with a Moogle Medal in it. It should be near one of the chests!

Mako Pipeline Maintenance Warehouse

If you took on the Kalm Mayor’s quest, Chadley will pin this location on your map. After you’ve spoken to the “merc,” destroy the boxes near the benches.

The Marsh

Have your Chocobo sniff around this area for five Moogle Medals.

Mistveil Reservoir

To reach the Mistveil Reservoir, take your Chocobo on the right side of the marsh. Once you find a red tower to climb, do so and you’ll reach the Reservoir. The Moogle Medals are in the boxes near the gate.

Desolate Worksite

What it says. Near Junon, there’s a pipe you can duck under to access a hidden area full of loot. Destroy the boxes, and you’ll get some Moogle Medals!

Shinra Construction Site

The entrance to this tiny area is depicted on the map. There are three treasure chests and boxes with Moogle Medals in them.

Fisherman’s Strait

Abandoned Dock

During your search for the stolen Protorelic, you’ll come across this abandoned dock. Just before you enter, there are boxes you can destroy, which contain Moogle Medals.

Republic Shipwreck & Cargo Shipwreck

Of the three boats in the area, there are two that will be classified as a shipwreck. You can find boxes with Moogle Medals on them.

Near a Chocobo stop

What it says—fast travel to this Chocobo stop and have your Chocobo sniff around. It will unearth five Moogle Medals.

Crow’s Camp

Deep within Junon’s mountains, you’ll find a small camp near one of your Fort Condor stops. It has a box with a Moogle Medal in it.

Seabreeze Storehouse

NC-1 Zipline

Sunrise Plateau

Cape del Amor

Mako Wastes

Start from the artifact digging place near a chocobo stop. Then, hop on some mushrooms until you reach this middle area. The medals are in boxes.

Reactor Construction Site

Near one of the towers

Nidhogg Grotto

On one of the isolated islands in the area is this location. To reach it, circle the island on water until you see a cave-like opening at the back. Enter it.

Cliffs of Abjuration

Ride your Chocobo on the water and keep Chocojet active. You’ll see a series of cliffs with chests on them. One of the chests is surrounded by Moogle Medal boxes.

Stowaway Cove

Near south Nibel is this patch of beach where you can swim to. There are a ton of Moogle Medal boxes in it.

Before you reach a shrine

On one of the islands, just before you land on the platform that takes you to an Odin shrine, you can actually stop by a small ledge with rabbits on them. If you have your chocobo sniff around, you'll find five Moogle Medals.

Hraesvelgr Perch
