The arrival of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's Season 3 Reloaded has brought with it new maps, unlockable weapons, challenges, and items to use in matches. However, it's also introduced a Tac Sprint bug that prevents you from reloading your weapons after using the mechanic. Here's how you can avoid it while the developers work on a permanent fix.
How to fix Tac Sprint bug in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded
First, it's important to know what exactly causes the bug. If you have enabled Automatic Tactical Sprint for the game, then you're likely to get hit with this bug. When in-game, the moment you start sprinting, it may result in your weapon not reloading.
To prevent this from happening, go to the Movement Behaviours section under the Gameplay Options tab in the settings. Here, you will see the option, 'Sprint/Tactical Sprint Behavior'. Instead of keeping it on automatic, switch it back to manual.
This way, you will have to enter a key or perform a controller input to sprint in-game. For most players, this is the LShift key. However, you can change the keybinds in the settings.
The developers are working on a fix
Players have nothing to worry about, as the developers have already prioritized a workaround for this problem. This has been confirmed by an official 'Call of Duty Updates' account on X (formerly known as Twitter). While there's no guarantee that the fix will drop within a day or so, an error that impacts a core mechanic like Tac Sprint should hopefully be resolved quickly.
So far, Season 3 Reloaded of Call of Duty: Warzone has been every bit exciting, with new weekly challenges, powerful akimbo Marksman Rifles in the form of the JAK Wardens, and better accessibility options like cross-progression. Fans have grown accustomed to bugs and glitches appearing every time a new seasonal update drops for Call of Duty's Warzone and mainline series, so this is just par for the course.
Fortunately, none of it is game-breaking. For these minor bugs, a quick fix is often just around the corner.
