Lanternberries are Wuthering Waves ascension materials that can be found in the Huanglong region. They are used as ascension materials for Jianxin, Baizhi, Zhezhi, and potentially other characters in the future. If you need to farm for these berries, here's where to find them.
Where to farm Lanternberry in Wuthering Waves
Lanternberries are a local specialty of the Tiger's Maw Mine in Huanglong. Head to all the areas marked by stars on the map above to pick up Lanternberries, which can be found growing on vines or small patches of grass. They are either on the ground or hanging on low walls, so you typically don't have to climb to reach them.
It's important to know that lighting conditions can influence how the Lanternberries look in the wild. They typically take an off-white/pale yellow color in normal and daytime lighting, but can sometimes look blue at night.
How to get more Lanternberries in Wuthering Waves
You can only farm around 27 Lanternberries per day, which isn't enough to fully ascend a Resonator. There are two easy ways to get more Lanternberries if you're strapped for time.
Purchase from Shifang Pharmacy
Head to the Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou, which you can easily find via a dedicated pin in the World Map. Speak to Koko, who sells 15 Lanternberries per day for 3,000 Shell Credits each. She also sells other local specialties, so I recommend making a daily purchase run if you aren't a fan of searching for materials in the wild, especially as you may need them for future characters.
Go to a friend's world
You can farm for materials in a friend's world, assuming that they are on your friends list. Open your friends list and click "Apply to join," then wait for them to accept your request to enter their world. There are a few things to keep in mind:
- You may not be able to enter a friend's world if they are at a significantly higher level than you.
- You must ask permission before taking things from a friend's world.
- Once in your friend's world, they must be near you, or you won't be able to farm materials.
Alternatively, if you have multiple devices, I suggest creating a mule account with the whole map unlocked so you can farm in two worlds every day.
