All players can preload Days Gone once they pre-ordered the game. That being said, to preload the game, all you need to do is find the game in your library and click install. To do this on Steam, you will need to first find the game in your library.
Once you find it click the game's name, and you should see a button labeled preload, click this and then choose a location to preload the game.
On the Epic Games Launcher, you will need to click on the icon for the game in the library section, and after this, you will be prompted to choose a location.
Choose a location, and the game will start to download, and once finished, you will have successfully preloaded the game on either Steam or Epic Games.
When will Days Gone be playable on PC?
Days Gone will fully release tomorrow at around 12 am worldwide or 9 pm PDT. In the UK, the game will unlock for players at 5 am tomorrow. Days Gone on PC will also include a photomode, ultra-wide monitor support, and players can reset FOV to a max setting of 100.
Along with this, the game will also include all downloadable content from the console version of the game.
