Adventure Escape Mysteries Sweet Dreams walkthrough, Chapter 2

Sweet Dreams is conveniently broken up into bite-sized chunks using chapters. This walkthrough is specifically covering Chapter 2, just after Revi enters Arlo’s dream. If you’re looking for solutions or hints to things that happen in earlier or later chapters, we’ve got you covered at our Sweet Dreams walkthrough hub page.

Unlocking the cottage

Click the lollies on the right (a1) to find they have peppermint candies inside, then the ones on the left (a2) to move them and take a Candy Corn. Now click the lever (a3) to find you can’t reach it and, select Albert (a4) to find he’s thirsty, and the door (a5) to find the door is locked. Now follow the path to the right.

Once you’ve spoken to Arlo, give the candy corn to the bird (b1) who will leave the nest, allowing you to take the Candy Eggs. Also, take the Candy Cane (b2) and then head back to the house.

Use the candy cane to pull the lever (a3) to mix the icing river (a6), then take the Cookie Heart that appears in it. Use the heart to open the door (a5) to begin a puzzle. To get through the lock, you need to enter the correct amount of candies in each section which is as follows:

  • Lollies: 8
  • Cupcakes: 5
  • Cherries: 4
  • Macaroons: 7

Completing the recipe

Head into the cottage and take the Recipe (c1) to find we still need to find sprinkles, icing, and cookie mix before we can add the ingredients to the tank. Open the fridge (c2) and take the Candy Sode, draw the curtains (c3) to find a Broom, open the drawer (c4) to get a Brush, and then use the broom to clean the icing off of the stairs.

This allows you to click the sweets at the top of the stairs (c5) to start a matching puzzle. You can’t go wrong here and once you’re done you’ll get the small key. Use it to open the locked cupboard (c6) and take the Empty Bowl and Cookie Mix.

Go back outside and use the bowl on the icing river (a6) to get a Bowl of Icing. Give the soda to Albert (a4), then use the brush on Albert to get the Sprinkles. Head into the house and add all the ingredients to the machine (above the recipe, c1).

Click the oven (c7) to start another puzzle. Note that the dials represent the same ingredients as you’ll see on the steps in the house, so set the dials to match (red wafer, yellow with dots, brown with a swirl, see above). Take the Pile of Cookies from the tray (c8) and head back to the river.

Click the bridge (b3) and add the cookies to start a polyominoes puzzle. See the completed image above if you’re stuck. Once done, you’ll have access to the other side of the river. During the cutscene, Greta will ask you to find eight of her gummy bear friends.

Finding the gummy bears

Click the Spoon (b4) and the Licorice Rope (b5) to take them, and then use the rope to pull in the boat (b6). Get your first Gummy Bear from the boat, along with a Chocolate Coin.

Return to the house to find the scene has changed. Click Albert (d1) to take your second Gummy Bear, as well as the Animal Crackers wrapper. Then grab two more Gummy Bears (d2 and d3). Move inside the house and take the final four Gummy Bears (see below).

Return to the river and give the eight Gummy Bears to Greta to start a new puzzle. If you’re stuck on this one, swipe the bears in this order (I’ve numbered them below):

  • 1 down, 2 right, 3 up
  • 4 down, 5 right, 6 right, 7 down, 8 left
  • 9 left, 10 left, 11 down, 12 left, 13 down, 14 down, 15 down, 16 down, 17 right

Making the balloon

Now you need enough coins to operate the machine. Use the spoon on the ice cream (b7) to find a second Chocolate Coin, and on the other ice cream scoop (b8) to get the third Chocolate Coin, before adding the coins to the machine (b9).

Look at the animal wrapper and note the animal shapes. To find the animal shapes you need, look at the clouds floating past on the screen to spot a dolphin, turtle, and rabbit. Put the coins into the two top-right slots and the bottom-left slot to drop the Gumball. Pick it up and give it to Greta. Greta will now make the balloon for you, which concludes Chapter 2.
