Alan Wake 2 PC system requirements

PC players were anxiously awaiting the release of system requirements for the new horror game in the Alan Wake series, and they finally have them, only it may not be as expected. The Remedy team announced via their official X (Twitter) page just what the requirements will be to play the game smoothly on PC. Take a look below for the image that they tweeted.

It was obvious from trailers and gameplay videos that the graphics in this game were going to be quite the sight, but I think all of us are surprised to see just how significant they are after seeing the PC requirements. While players who meet the specs are excited to experience such a visually detailed experience, those who just barely, or don't meet them at all, are left disappointed and worried that the game might not run as hoped.

Less serious gamers who don't have the proper equipment will have to sacrifice visual quality in order to place this game smoothly. However, it could be argued that such an experience is worth it for those who can experience it to its full potential. Those who don't meet the requirements may have to switch things up and try it out on a console instead. It will all be determined once everyone can jump in and see just how well things run or if there will be some framerate issues.

There are still plenty of options as to how you can dive into the game, whether you meet the PC requirements or not. We just hope that the high quality of the game doesn't put a damper on playability. How are you feeling about it?
