We've all been Innocents, Sheriffs, and even the notorious Imposters in Among Us, but now it's time to take on some brand new roles—Trackers, Noisemakers, and Phantoms. These roles will give crewmates new ways to track suspicious activity and make things even more devious for the imposters.
These three new roles come with some new actions to perform, assisting the crewmates and imposters in their opposing goals. The crewmate Trackers can put tracking devices on other players, allowing them to open the map and see that other person's location as they roam around. They can choose to untrack a player at any time and track a new player. However, they'll need to be close to a player to throw a new tracker on them, so try and do it when they least expect it.
Noisemakers are another crewmate role that allows you to give off an alert sound when you're eliminated so other players can come rushing in and catch the imposter in the act. If you hear the alert, just know the imposter is close by, so be careful heading straight toward it.
The Phantom is probably the coolest of the new roles. This imposter role will allow you to turn invisible after eliminating a crewmate and reappear in a new location as you please. Imposters will be stealthier than ever, but they must use their newfound invisibility trait wisely. If a crewmate catches them disappearing, their secret will be unveiled.
These new roles are part of the free update rolling out today. You can experience any of those roles in your normal game modes and put them to good use in completing your goals (whether you're a crewmate or an imposter). Which role are you most excited to try out?
