From Skirmishers to Assault Legends, there are several characters that are powerful enough to hold their own. Solos is all about keeping your eyes and ears sharp while making the best of your Legend's abilities. There's no one to rely on in your team or the responsibility of supporting anyone. This can be used to your advantage.
5. Pathfinder
Pathfinder may not know where he truly came from, but he knows where to go. His toolkit lets you reach tricky spots, thanks to the Grappling Hook, and can also be used to attach to a zipline. This makes it challenging for other players to keep their sights on you.
To raise your chances of survival, scan survey beacons with his passive ability Insider Knowledge helps too by revealing the next safe zone on the map. Finally, his Zipline Gun (ultimate ability) lets you form a pathway to get in and out of battles.
4. Bangalore
One of the OG Legends was going to make it to the list (duh!) and Bangalore has got your back. Her tactical (Smoke Launcher) not only lets you cover your tracks but also creates a fog of dark smoke that hurts and blinds enemies for a while. This creates the perfect opportunity for you to either hide and heal, or sneak and strike. Her passive Double Time speeds you up when you're taking damage, making it difficult for other players to keep track of you.
3. Mirage
After almost 19 seasons, Mirage finally found his place in the Apex Games. Not just as a comic relief, but also an incredibly strong Legend that can confuse players to no extent. His tactical ability Psyche Out lets you send a hologram of Mirage which looks exactly like him. If an enemy player shoots it, you'll be able to see where the enemy has fired from. His ultimate (Life of the Party) creates multiple holographic clones of him that mimic his movement.
Given how quickly his ultimate recharges, this ability can almost be spammed with every fight you encounter. In case you have the ability to revive your self (by using a golden Knockdown Shield), Mirage's passive ability Now You See Me will come in handy. When shot down, this creates a hologram of you that pretends like he's dying. For five seconds, you'll be invisible and have the time to hide and revive yourself.
2. Alter
Apex Legends' latest season has introduced a new Legend that is a solid choice for Solo gameplay. We've covered the complete guide to using her abilities, and now it's time to talk about how we use Alter in Solos. Her tactical, Void Passage, should be used as a tool to quickly maneuver between different surfaces. The goal here is to be as agile as possible. Similarly, before you even think of attacking more than one or two players, use Alter's ultimate ability Void Nexus as a getaway tool. Place it in a safe spot before entering a fight.
Remember to use her passive ability (Gift from the Rift) as a handy tool to acquire any item of your choice from a death box that's far away. Instead of directly approaching a death box and revealing your location, use this instead.
1. Bloodhound
They've witnessed the Apex arenas since the dawn of time, harnessing both the technology of olden times as well as new ones. Bloodhound's toolkit allows them to use a powerful arsenal of scouting abilities. Their tactical ability Eye of the Allfather lets them scan the area, revealing any enemy who may be around for a short duration. Their passive ability Tracker automatically scans footprints and other tracks (such as slides and jumps) left by an opponent. Both of these are efficient ways of making sure that even without a teammate's help, you're aware of who else may be in your vicinity.
Meanwhile, their ultimate ability Beast of the Hunt lets you witness a major improvement in your movement speed by 30% and lets you use your tactical much faster. The trick is to be aggressive with your tracking so that no opponent feels safe when your ultimate is active.
