Apex Legends is a popular FPS battle royale released in 2019 on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and later Nintendo Switch. The game did not have cross-progression on release, but does Apex Legends have cross-progression now?
Apex Legends cross-progression explained
Apex Legends does feature cross-progression across all major platforms. Cross-progression was released during Season 19 and rolled out for players at different times throughout the season. Cross-progression allows players to keep progress across all platforms linked to an EA account. Players can link their PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch accounts to an EA account and keep all progress earned played on each platform.

Cross-progression is automatically enabled for players and once the feature is enabled, you will receive an in-game notification that cross-progression is now active. Your ranking, trophies/achievements, and stats will be used from your primary profile, which is the profile with the highest in-game level. Cosmetics, currency, challenges, and XP are combined upon the activation of cross-progression. However, Nintendo Switch Apex Coins remain exclusive to the Switch account.
Cross-progression between accounts can be pretty simple, but there are some issues that players may run into. If you are missing progress after the feature is enabled, check out the Apex Legends Cross-Progression Hub. If you have multiple EA accounts, you may have issues transferring progress, as your platform accounts can only be linked to one EA account. If you unlink a platform account, you will lose all progress on that account, so be careful before linking and unlinking accounts.
