How to get a free Bangalore Pack if you bought the Mil-Spec skin in Apex Legends

If you bought the Mil-Spec skin during a certain timeframe, you're in luck.

Bangalore was the most recent star in the Stories from the Outlands saga. In the short, Gridiron. Along with that short came a brand-new Legendary Bangalore skin, but also an unfortunate glitch. When players tried to use the skin after purchasing it, the game crashed on the character select screen due to an animation glitch. While the glitch was eventually fixed, everyone affected by it as an actual owner of the Mil-Spec skin is given as a freebie to make up for it.

One Bangalore Pack (also called a Bangalore Thematic Pack) is being gifted to everyone affected starting on Jan. 20. This means that if you purchased the Mil-Spec Legendary Bangalore skin between the dates of Jan. 4 and Jan. 13, you will be able to claim a free Bangalore Pack just by logging in.

This freebie is only for players who bought the skin between those two dates and not those who purchased it during its extended stay in the store after the fact. A Bangalore Pack is a Rare-tier Apex Pack that guarantees one Bangalore cosmetic that you do not yet own inside of it.
