How to turn on Creative Mode in ARK Survival Ascended

Creative Mode is a mode for players who want to experience ARK Survival Ascended (ASA) without the survival part. If you want to play ASA in Creative Mode, here's how.

How to enable Creative Mode in ARK Survival Ascended

By default, Creative Mode is turned off in the settings, meaning you must first enable it before you can use it. Start a new session and head to the Game Rules section. From here, select Rules and scroll down until you see the option, Show Creative Mode. Turn this on to enable Creative Mode.

After doing this, make certain to select Save Settings. Otherwise, you'll have to do this process over again in the future.

Once Creative Mode is enabled, resume your play session or continue making a new one. Once in a session, open the Menu and select Enable Creative Mode. You should see a message appear letting you know you've entered Creative Mode. Note that you can toggle this mode off in the exact same way you turned it on.

Alternatively, you can use a console command to enable Creative Mode as well. Enter Givecreativemode in the console to get instant access to it without needing to toggle the option on in the menu.

What does Creative Mode do in ARK Survival Ascended?

Creative Mode automatically grants you all the Engrams in the game and allows you to craft them instantly, without any cost. The mode is for those who are not interested in resource gathering and just want to play in a dinosaur-filled sandbox just for fun. You can build whatever you want without needing to get or make prerequisite materials. You are also given an infinite amount of the Weight stat, meaning you never need to worry about carrying too much at any point!
