One of the most important things I had to learn in Assassin's Creed Mirage is how to fight well. Attacking enemies is fun, but I quickly realized that I wouldn't last long on the streets of Baghdad if I didn't learn how to defend. One of the crucial aspects of defense is to block attacks and then counterattack. For this, I had to learn how to parry in AC Mirage.
How to parry in AC Mirage
To parry in Assassin's Creed Mirage, press the L1 button on PlayStation, the LB button on Xbox, or the Q key on PC. However, timing is crucial, and you must hit the parry window; the parry will fail if you press the button too early or too late. Therefore, for a successful one-click parry, press the button when the opponent is about to attack. While it sounds logical, you'll need a bit of practice. But when you master it, solving AC Mirage quests will be much easier and more fun!
Not all attacks can be parried. For example, if the attack glows red, you can't parry. In that case, the only effective defense move is to dodge. Parrying not only breaks incoming attacks but also restores some of your Stamina. It also stuns enemies, allowing you to perform a counterattack.
How to parry and counterattack in AC Mirage
To counterattack in AC Mirage, perform a successful parry first, after which the enemy will be stunned briefly. This is the perfect time to counterattack and kill an opponent by pressing RB (Xbox), E (PC), or R1 (PS5). This works with weaker enemies, but against stronger ones, you'll have to perform multiple parries before getting an opportunity to strike them.
The multiple-parry system makes the sword fights more dynamic. Only after you perform a series of parries can you do a counterattack that kills that stronger opponent.
To become a great assassin, use Assassin's Creed Mirage Codes, which you can find here on Pro Game Guides.
