How to Find Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3 (Location)

Gale Companion Location!

In Baldur's Gate 3, players can recruit NPC companions to help them on their quests and during battles. Gale is one such character who you can recruit early in the game—a human wizard with exceptional magic powers. Here's how to find him.

Where to Recruit Gale in Baldur's Gate 3 (Map)

You can find Gale at the Roadside Cliffs, northwest of the Overgrown Ruins. The wizard appears out of a portal, the exact location of which I've shown in the map above. Approach the Ancient Sigil Circle on the stone and interact with it to pull Gale out using your Strength or Wisdom abilities.

To recruit Gale as your companion, you'll have to go through a series of dialogues with him, which you can always skip (as I did). If you want to recruit the wizard as your companion, make the appropriate dialogue choices (i.e. avoid options that involve drawing your weapon and attacking him). Allow Gale to be your travel companion when he asks you to help him find a healer, and you'll have recruited him.
