After clicking the co-worker tab in BitLife, find one of your co-worker's profiles listed under the tab. Clicking on one of their profiles will display a list of options, and one of these will be the start a rumor option.

When you start rumors, there is a high chance for your co-workers to report you to HR. When you get reported to HR, there is a high chance you will get terminated from your job. If you get reported and fired, you will need to start over and try again.
