How to audition for a role in BitLife

Be a star.

BitLife isn't short of careers in entertainment, giving you an opportunity to make a big break—whether as an actor, musician, or singer. But before you can land a gig, you need to work your way up, starting from lessons to acing band auditions.

To start, wait until your character is aged eight. Click on the Activities menu, select Mind & Body, then take Voice, Acting, or Instruments lessons. It's highly recommended to take as many lessons as you can while you're young, as your mom will only pay for them until you reach high school. After then, you need to take a Part-Time Job or Freelance Gig to afford lessons.

It's beneficial to max out your skill to make it easier to land auditions later down the line. After high school, you can choose to go to university or immediately apply for a job.

It's recommended to apply for the Voiceover Actor job, as this will propel a career path to becoming an Actor and Lead Actor. Keep aging up until you get promoted to Actor or Lead Actor. If you're lucky, you'll occasionally get offered an audition by random labels.

Otherwise, head to the Occupation menu, select Special Careers and pick a career type and record label to audition for. It's pretty hard to land an audition offer, even if you're already established in your career. When you do land an audition, you need to pass another layer of luck, as you aren't guaranteed to win the gig.

Head to Special Careers and select Actor. You need to pay $2 to unlock this Job Pack. Once you do, you can start auditioning for Movie and Television Roles, play a part as an Extra, or hire a Talent Agent. It's recommended that you start out as an Extra to earn some money and gain experience as you move up the acting ladder.

When choosing a role to audition for, don't forget to check the description to make sure that your character fits the bill. Your chances of landing the role of a 57-year old man as a 25-year old is bleak.
