How to purchase the Jobs Pack in BitLife
You can only become a part of Mafia if you own the Jobs Pack DLC. Purchase the individual Mafia Pack for $3 or the entire Jobs Pack for $10 from the game store before beginning your adventure.

How to join a Mafia Family in BitLife
To become a Mob Boss, you have to join a mob family in the first place. To do this, you should have a criminal history from a young age. Create a new life and turn 13. Once you reach middle school, start doing petty crimes like shoplifting, pickpocketing, and burglary. Perform at least two to three such criminal activities yearly before aging up.
Once you reach 18, click on the Mafia option under the Jobs Pack and choose a gang/faction of your choice. In the following menu, pick any job you want to do for them and hit the join button. Since you have a history of committing violence and looting, you will taken in without any hiccups.
Remember, if you own the god mode DLC, you can manually select the Crime attribute to scale your chances of getting into a gang.
How to Become a Mafia Boss in Bitlife
Once you are in a family, you will need to commit crimes and contribute as much money back to your crime family. The best way to bring a lot of money is by stealing cars, robbing banks, or looting trains. Use the Crime button under your Mafia menu to indulge in these activities. Also, use the Work Harder regularly to show commitment towards the family.
Over time, your reputation and notoriety will scale. Each time, you observe a significant improvement in both factors, as for a promotion. With time, you will move from the role of a simple associate to a soldier, followed by an underboss, then a chairman, and finally obtaining the power of godfather, which is nothing but a Mafia Boss. It will take anywhere from 10 to 25 years to reach that position.
During your journey, you will face two problems- cops and health. For cops, always bribe them if you are caught in some act, and also don't murder people left, right, and center. Instead, focus on stealing and extortion to gain notoriety, as these acts are less punishable if caught.
On the other hand, maintain health by hitting the gym, going on walks, visiting spas, and eating healthy. If you face any health issues, go to the doctor immediately and get treatment.
