Call of Duty: Vanguard is receiving massive content as part of the Season 2 update. The main highlights of the Multiplayer roadmap are the new maps and game modes, some of which are arriving at the season launch and others during the season.
New Maps in Vanguard Season 2
While the first two maps in the following list are for the core Multiplayer game modes, the third one will host the new Arms Race mode.
- Casablanca (At-launch): This is a "medium-sized, three-lane-style map" situated in Morocco. The busy marketplace has a variety of structures for added verticality and positioning.
- Gondola (At-launch): Smaller than the previous map, Gondola has a traditional symmetrical map design.
- The Alps (In-season): Located in the European mountains, this massive map will involve ground-vehicles and large-scale battles against the Axis.

New Modes in Vanguard Season 2
- Ranked Play Beta (At-launch): This is arguably the biggest addition to Vanguard's Multiplayer. The highly anticipated ranked mode features rules approved by Call of Duty League, skill ratings, and competitive rewards.
- Arms Race (In-season): As mentioned previously, Arms Race is a expansive battle, which works similar to Ground War from Modern Warfare or Fireteam: Dirty Bomb from Black Ops Cold War.
