During the first week of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the BAS-B Battle Rifle had a hit-reg issue that made this gun practically unusable. This problem has now been fixed, and the weapon turned out to be one of the best ones in the game. Here's a guide to the best BAS-B loadout and class setup to use in MW3.
Best BAS-B build Modern Warfare 3 (MW3)
- Barrel: Wyvern's Respite Long Barrel
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Bruen Laur4 Light Precision Stock
- Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
- Magazine: Rival Vice Assault Grip
The BAS-B has a fast time-to-kill (TTK) and is fairly accurate by default, thanks to its minimal recoil pattern with very little horizontal bounce. To improve this even further and add some mobility to the weapon, I've used the Bruen Laur4 stock. Thereafter, you can add the Respite Long barrel for better range, movement speed, and strafing speed.
The Handstop foregrip further increases the mobility and handling stats of the gun. Since the BAS-B Battle Rifle comes with a 20-round standard magazine, you'll be better off equipping an extended 30-round mag as it allows you to stay in gunfights much longer. Finally, I've equipped a low-zoom optic for better target acquisition, but feel free to skip it for some other attachment if you're okay with the iron sights on the gun.
