Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has several weapons that players can unlock and then level up to get more attachment mods. There are some weapon XP farming techniques using which you speed up the leveling process.
You are definitely going to level up your guns by getting kills and playing the objective in regular 6v6 Multiplayer modes. However, I'll share with you a method that's way more efficient and allows you to max-level a gun in a matter of minutes if you're using Double Weapon XP Token.
Fastest way to level up guns in Modern Warfare 3
The best way to farm weapon XP right now is by playing Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Load into a match of MWZ and go to your nearest exfil point (see map). Make sure it's in a low-threat zone! This zone covers the outskirts of the map, and Zombies that spawn here are very easy to kill.
Call in the exfil helicopter by pressing the interact button near the green smoke, and the Zombies will start spawning out of the ground. Now, let a bunch of Zombies appear and train them by running in a circular path for easy kills, or simply start shooting them with the weapon you want to level up.
Let the exfil helo arrive and leave and just keep killing as many enemies as possible. Soon after the exfil chopper has left, the green smoke will reappear. Keep calling the exfil again and again to trigger the Zombies to spawn. This method is effective as there's never a shortage of enemies to kill. I managed to fully level up two of my guns in one match of MWZ using this technique.
If you don't really want to spend any time playing Zombies, I recommend playing the War Mode. You can complete objectives and kill players for XP. As for the 6v6 Multiplayer, Kill Confirmed is still the best game mode to level up weapons—just make sure you collect those dog tags for points.
