Call of Duty Vanguard went live a few hours ago and players are dropping in for yet another WWII era experience. Although the servers for the game have officially gone live, some PC players are having trouble getting into them. If you are one of them, here's a guide to help you out.
If the play button for CoD Vanguard inside the Battle.net app is grayed out for you, the following steps may fix the problem. Here's how to fix Call of Duty Vanguard not working on PC:
- First and foremost, check whether your internet connection is working properly. The issue may be because Battle.net can't connect to the servers. Make sure that you are getting the internet speed promised by the service provider.
- Try and see if restarting your router helps.
- Restart the Battle.net client. This option seems to be the best solution for the persisting issue, and it might work for you too.
- Last but not least, click on the settings wheel next to "Play" and choose the "Scan and Repair" option. This may take a while, but will search and fix any corrupted in the Call of Duty Vanguard folder.

Your last option is to contact Activision Support and let them know what problems you are facing. Your issue will be addressed and resolved by the technicians as soon as possible.
There could also be some technical difficulties with the game itself. If that's the case, Sledgehammer Games must be working on some fixes that may go live soon.
