Modern Warfare 3 is the third game since the reboot series began in 2019. If you're looking to jump into it or wondering if it's friendly to new players, you've come to the right place.
Can new players play Modern Warfare 3?
Looking back at the previous games, MW3 is easily the most friendly toward newer players of the franchise. This is because MW3 increases the time to kill (TTK) in multiplayer, so it will take more bullets to kill another player. As a byproduct, a higher TTK means you have more time to react to someone shooting at you, which means you aren't at an immediate loss the moment someone opens fire.

The bigger reason why MW3 is the perfect jump-in point for new players is actually due to the game's revamped zombie game mode. MW3 Zombies is an expansive PvE-focused game mode that allows you to play at your own pace and actually earn real progression doing so. There is a ton to hunt for and plenty of loot to look through, making it a fun mode to play. For those that might be intimidated by the fast-paced MW3 MP(Multiplayer) or Warzone, MW3 Zombies is by far the best introduction point the Call of Duty series has ever had.
It is easy for me to recommend MW3 to new players because, unlike prior games in the series, you have something to do and can learn the ropes through the methods you like. Each pillar of content in the game contains plenty to do, so there will never be a dull moment.
