Where to find Disciples in MW3 Zombies – Bounty Hunter Mission Guide

In Modern Warfare 3, there are different types of Special and Elite Zombies to take down across the map. The Bounty Hunter mission for Act 2 Tier 3 asks you to eliminate three different targets marked by Big Bounty contracts.

• Complete a Big Bounty contract for a Mangler.
• Complete a Big Bounty contract for a Disciple.
• Complete a Big Bounty contract for a Mimic.

How to complete a Big Bounty contract in MW3 Zombies

To find an Eliminate The Bounty contract, open your tac map and look for cellphones with a crosshair icon. These contracts in the Low Threat Zone put a target on either a Mangler or Mimic. In order to target a Disciple, you'll have to accept a Bounty contract from the Medium Threat Zone. If the contract marks a target that you've already eliminated, cancel it and go for another one.

How to find Disciples in MW3 Zombies

There are two primary methods you can use to find one, and I'll spell out both for you below. The first method is to explore the Medium Threat Zone of the map. The further inland you go into the zombie-filled city, the more often you'll encounter powerful elite zombies lurking around.

Disciples are one of the more common elites I've come across during my solo explorations, but that doesn't make them any less of a threat. Tier Two zombies will block every path, and they are much harder to kill compared to their Tier One brethren, Disciples included.

The second method, as discussed previously, is to use Big Bounty contracts to force one out of hiding. Every time you take a Big Bounty contract, you'll be tasked with killing an elite zombie. There is a variety of zombie types, and you may not get a Disciple on the first try. Make sure you're packing decent weapons, as any elite zombie will take some firepower to bring down.

Best locations for Disciples in MW3 Zombies

If you're looking to go with the first method still, then here are a few tips for hunting down Disciples in the medium threat zone. First, Disciples don't have a static location where you can find them. They tend to linger around buildings, especially military bases in my experience.

They also like to hang around active zombie hordes because of their core ability to empower zombies, which makes sense. Finally, if you're hunting for Disciples, pay attention to their aura. Disciples are levitating zombies with a distinct glow that can be seen from a long distance.
