Call of Duty Vanguard is perhaps one of the most anticipated games revealed at Gamescom 2021. In their extended segment during the event, they introduced Polina, one of the game's main characters. However, not only introduce the character but also the voice actor playing her part. Many of us might recognize her voice, but some of us might also recognize her face.
Laura Bailey is a popular actor amongst a lot of communities, but many of them are cult followings for specific groups. Perhaps two of her most well-known career roles are as Young Trunks in the Dragon Ball Z series, or as Vex from the Dungeons & Dragons themed web series Critical Role. Still, her official Wikipedia page lists an incredible history outside of those two roles, as she has been in the voice acting business for nearly two decades.
Prior to Call of Duty Vanguard, Laura Bailey is credited in a long list of roles for other video games. Some of the biggest blockbusters where she can be heard are Gears of War, Halo, and BloodRayne. Suffice it to say, with her expertise in her career, we're not surprised at all that she was one of the presenters for Vanguard at the Gamescom 2021 showcase.
