Dead Space is many things and the bulk of that load is carried by its protagonist, Isaac Clarke. This once-silent character is an incredibly brilliant engineer who has the misfortune of having to fix the dying USG Ishimura while also braving the horrors of Unitologist fanatics. From life support to the tram system and engines to the atmospheric defense system, he works his way all over the ship like a little Fix-it Felix. That being said, not all puzzles in this game are as straightforward. Enter the centrifuge.
How to attach the spinning generators in Dead Space Remake
In Chapter 3: Course Correction, Clarke must make several repairs to the engine system in order to right its orbit over Aegis VII. In what is likely the final step for many players, Clarke enters zero gravity with the centrifuge and must attach two generators to either side. Trying to attach them with Kinesis won't work as they are repelled violently. The trick is to hit the generators with Stasis to slow down the spinning connector and then slot the generator in with Kinesis.

With the two generators connected, Isaac can reactivate the Centrifuge. However, there is a large growth of flesh blocking the catwalk leading out. To leave, Isaac must navigate the centrifuge as it's running. Take the elevator down, get right to the edge, and run to the left just as the mechanical arm passes. There will be an alcove that Isaac can duck into just before the arm comes back. Repeat this process a few times, keep an eye out for a couple of necromorphs, and you'll make it to the secondary exit.
