As promised in the Pumpkin King update patch notes, the slender and lovable Jack Skellington has arrived in the Valley, but you'll need to unlock him with some special dolls. Here's how!
Disney Dreamlight Valley 'Something Comes A'Knocking' Quest Guide
To unlock Jack Skellington you're going to need to summon him into your Valley. This is done by completing the 'Something Comes A'Knocking' quest. The quest begins by locating your first Matryoshka doll. The doll can spawn randomly anywhere in your Valley, so take a good look around and you should see a little wooden doll shining on the ground.
Where to find all Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Once you pick it up, you can speak to Merlin for a few more clues on what your next steps should be. You must find a total of four dolls to complete the summoning. All the dolls can spawn randomly throughout the Valley, which means the locations I found them in may not be the same for you. However, a good way to find them more easily is to go into Furniture mode and zoom out, clearing out any obstacles that may be in the way. I found them in the following places:
- Sunlit Plateau
- The Plaza
- Glade of Trust
- Peaceful Meadow

Once you have some dolls, you'll need to hang them in a specific tree. This tree is found in the Forgotten Lands, and you won't be able to miss it, since it's carved with a Jack-O-Lantern right on the front.
Approach the tree and you can place the dolls one by one on it by selecting them from your Inventory. Each doll you place will change the tree slightly, filling in the color of the Jack-O-Lantern and placing candy around the trunk. Once you have hung enough of the dolls, Jack will be welcomed into the Valley.
If you're having trouble finding dolls, I would suggest placing your first doll into the tree at Forgotten Lands before looking for more. After I placed my first doll, a bunch more started showing up around the biomes. With Jack unlocked, you can start working toward his Friendship quests and earn his special rewards.
