How to solve Lion’s Pavilion in Dragon Age: Inquisition

The hidden quest for rare crafting materials.

There is a hidden quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Emerald Graves map called The Lion's Pavilion. Players will receive rare crafting materials for completing the quest.

To begin the quest, head to the middle of the map, where the river begins. There will be a dead body that contains Parson's Battered Notebook. Looting the body will unlock a passage in the Codex, which starts the quest.

  1. Make your way to the Lion's Pavilion, a huge white building.
    • You'll see it marked on your map the moment you find it, and it's in the middle of the three camps west of the river.
    • It's northwest of the corpse.
  2. When you enter the mansion building, you'll find torches, and there is a particular order for lighting them. Once each fire goes out, light the torches again.
    • The torch at the back right of the statue should be lit four times.
    • The torch in the statue's back left should be lit twice.
    • Light the torch in front of the statue on the left three times.
    • The fourth torch will automatically light up if everything is done in order.
  3. The player can now take a chest from a fire in front of the statue, and it contains another Parson's Battered Notebook.
  4. Return to the river and follow it northwest until you reach a waterfall.
    • There will now be a chest where the rushing water meets the water in the bottom. It contains another Parson's Battered Notebook.
  5. You should head east from that waterfall. You will eventually come across Stonefinger Tower. Move around the trees using the Search button until you find a chest.
    • The chest is located between the large rocks at Southfinger Tower.
    • After getting the final chest, the player receives a Misshapen Child's Doll.

Demons will appear to fight the player, and after the player kills the demons, the real treasure is revealed. Looting the main demon to receive a random amount of rare crafting material.
