One of the most popular pastimes in Final Fantasy XIV is collecting rare mounts. There are hordes of these ridable creatures that players can unlock as they play through Square Enix’s popular MMO. While some mounts are always available, some are part of an event or promotion, including the Chocopokkur mount. How is this mount procured in Final Fantasy XIV?
To earn the Chocorpokkur mount in Final Fantasy XIV, players had to participate in 2021’s Game Better with Butterfinger promotion. This event took place from May 3, 2021, to June 30, 2021, and those who spent $5 or more on this promotion could head to the Mogstation to redeem the included code to have this rare mount sent to them via Delivery Moogle.

With the promotion over, the only way for players to secure the Chokorpokkur mount in Final Fantasy XIV today is by purchasing a code from sellers on resale sites like eBay. The mount usually goes for $20-$30 in 2022, with some overzealous sellers marking their codes for $150.
While the mount isn't available currently directly from Square Enix, there is a chance that the mount will return in the future, as other coveted mounts like the Regalia Type-G saw a return after years off the market. For now, though, it's a rare account item that's a rare find in Final Fantasy XIV.
