Foamstars surf into the Starry Pop party in new season trailer

It's not summer, but it's definitely foam party season.

Square Enix is setting up the party of the year in Foamstar's season one trailer, and you don't want to miss it. Starry pop is filled with shiny characters and maps, fitting for such a party.

The Foamstars Season One trailer was shown on January 31, 2024, at the PlayStation's State of Play event, detailing what exactly to expect from the game release on February 6.

The trailer revealed many different game modes you will be able to participate in, including a Ranked mode, Lonestar. The name might be misleading, as you won't be fighting on your own, but your team will actually take turns in groups to battle it out. Even if you aren't part of the main battle, you'll still be able to help out, and I'm interested to find out how.

Foamstars season one will also include some extreme modes like the Mirror Match Madness and the Invisible Showdowns. I'm personally most interested in the Invisible mode, as it provides an extra challenge to the game.

Other than a lot of modes, the Season will also include many character skins and maps, as well as a special party weekend when you will be able to test out new characters. However, a lot of the content is time-limited to the Season. Some might find this disappointing, but Foamstars promises to have great content with every new Season that you can look forward to.
