In Fortnite, you can participate in various fests and events to get unique rewards and cosmetic items. The Lantern Fest is one of the most popular events in the game, and you need to know how to get into this event to earn the rewards. Here are the start date, rewards, and challenges for Fortnite Lantern Fest.
When does the Lantern Fest start in Fortnite?
The Lantern Fest will be available in-game starting from March 22 to April 21, 2023. In this year's event, you can enjoy the new Lantern Fest Tour island map designed by Illusion Creative. There will be several challenges and quests to complete on the island, and you'll get to play different modes. These will include Sand is Lava Parkour, Race Rumble, Flawless Fashion, and several others. Completing challenges on the Lantern Fest Tour island will reward you with the following items.
- Cameo Needs Loot (Emoticon)
- Twilight Mosaic (Wrap)
- Lantern (Spray)
- Dog Eat Dog (Spray)

That's not all, there will be more challenges arriving at the Lantern Fest starting April 6, 2023. You can also participate in Lantography by submitting your best in-game screenshots featuring the lanterns on the battle royale map. Keep in mind that you'll have a week of time for image submission between March 23 to March 30, 2023. Likewise, SypherPK's Icon Series outfit will be making its way back to the item shop during the Lantern Fest event in Fortnite.
