How can I fix the Syndicate Quests Bug in Fortnite?
Firstly, you can attempt to switch out your Epic pickaxe with a Rare or Uncommon one, as this may help with the issue. Alternatively, equipping the default harvesting tool and then picking up an Epic weapon in a regular lobby might work as well. Some players have reported success with this method. It’s important to note that this fix may not work for everyone, and you need to wait for a patch from Epic Games. Nonetheless, it’s worth giving these solutions a try if you’re stuck on Stage 3 of the Syndicate quests.
Specifically, the quest titled “Survive storm phase while carrying a weapon of Epic rarity or higher” appears to be bugged. Despite surviving multiple storm cycles with an Epic weapon in hand, the quest will not advance. However, we want to assure you that Epic Games is already aware of this issue and is working hard to resolve it as soon as possible.
