Creative 2.0 means a whole new experience with world-building and creative opportunities for creators in Fortnite, and it brings a ton of the best creative games for us to try. It allows creators to enhance their games and fine-tune all the little details they could not do before. The question is: will this Unreal Editor be available for console players as well? Consoles won't be entirely left out, but they may have to wait a little longer.
Is Fortnite Creative 2.0 available on consoles?
Unfortunately, Creative 2.0's Unreal Editor (UEFN) is currently only a PC application, as Epic Games stated in their news article announcing its release. This is most likely due to the highly demanding details that are involved in creating games with this engine and scripting technicalities that would be difficult to do on a console. Sure, next-gen consoles can handle the high-res and cell-shading, but as these features continue to evolve, they can also easily fall behind. Experiences made by the UEFN can still be played on any console but are, for now, limited to being created on PC.

When is UEFN coming to the console?
Console players don't have to feel too left out, however. They are still getting an Unreal Editor to use, but it is rumored to be delayed for another 6 months from the Creative 2.0 release before it is rolled out. According to Fortnite sources on Twitter, the consoles will have limited features compared to the PC version, but they will still get the opportunity to be a part of it.
Console creators will have to be a bit patient while waiting for these versions of Creative 2.0 to be released or perhaps switch to a PC to get the whole UEFN experience. Creators using the UEFN have a chance to earn special payouts as well for creating successful experiences. You can jump in and create a map, too. Just jump into the Creator Portal and get started!
