Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is officially here and with that players can once again get to see new weapons, POIs, and skins along with new Bosses who drop a specific item. Here's how to get Society Medallions this season in Fortnite.
How to find the Society Medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 has been named as the 'Underground' and there is a group of bosses who are the main antagonists this season. This notorious group of villains is collectively known as 'The Society' and they have taken Peely. The Bosses that you will encounter this season are as follows:
- Oscar
- Nisha
- Montague
- Valeria
- Peter Griffin
The Bosses are scattered across the map and you need to take them down to get Society Medallions. Each of these Bosses drops a Medallion so when you retrieve it, these Medallions will regenerate your Shield over time.
The more Society Medallions you add to the inventory, the more Shield it will generate one tick at a time. You might feel pumped and would do anything to grab Medallions, but a fair warning beforehand, other players are going to target these Bosses so try eliminating them first. Remain cautious of your surroundings as once you have a Medallion, it will put you on the opponents' map.

That's not all, the more Medallions you have, the more exposed you are during every match. For instance, your precise location is going to become available to every player in the lobby as it shows up on the map. This means you will become an easy target for any number of opponents on the map. I recommend playing in groups so you can all take down enemies together and divide the Shields among each other. Although it will put you on their radar, the exact location will remain unknown from all the other enemies looking to eliminate you.
I play as a Solo so landing at these Boss locations can be extremely tricky if you're alone. Before heading directly to the Boss's location, get a weapon and Shields. Search around the POI for visible footsteps and eliminate all the real players first. Once the coast is clear, start engaging the Boss from a distance. It's also ideal to have a vehicle or rotational tools handy as it allows you to run away quickly after acquiring the Medallion.
