One of these new features is the ability to grow plants inside the Serenitea Pot, but there are a few prerequisites Travelers must complete before being gaining access to the farmer's lifestyle.

"The Art of Horticulture" World Quest

Travelers must complete The Art of Horticulture World Quest to unlock the new gardening feature and obtain the Seed Dispensary.

To unlock The Art of Horticulture, you must first:

  • Reach Reputation Level 3 in Inazuma
  • Obtain Naku Weed from Madarame Hyakubei

You will receive the Seed Dispensary gadget from Madame Ping after completing The Art of Horticulture.

Using the Seed Dispensary

To gather seeds, equip the Seed Dispensary from the gadget tab in your inventory. While the Seed Dispensary is equipped, gathering plants will automatically add the corresponding plant seeds.

You will also be able to purchase seeds that you've already obtained from the Seed Dispensary in the new Creatures of the Realm section of the Realm Depot (inside your Serenitea Pot).

Purchasing Fields

Another new section in the Realm Depot is Riches of the Realm, where you can purchase field plots for your seeds, along with Sub-Space Waypoints.

There are three different types of fields: Jade Field, Luxuriant Glebe, and Orderly Meadow. Each field supports a number of different seeds, so you'll want to ensure that the fields you buy correspond with the seeds you want to grow.

Growing Plants

After purchasing fields, you can place them inside your Serenitea Pot from the decorations and landscaping menu. After setting a field plot, it will appear on your minimap as a leaf icon.

Interacting with the field will show you the number of idle (unused) fields as well as the types of plants that can be grown in those fields. Each field comes with four idle areas; only one seed can be planted in each idle area.

After you plant a seed, interacting with the field will demonstrate how much more time is needed to grow that plant. You can choose to clear the fields to sow new seeds at any time, even while your current plants are still growing, but you will not receive those lost seeds back.
