Genshin Impact Kachina farming guide – All Talent & Ascension materials

As a youngling of Genshin Impact's Children of Echoes, Kachina is assertive, energetic, and determined to do things her way! If you're excited to pull for this four-star Geo polearm character in the Version 5.0 update, here's everything you can farm for in advance.

All Kachina level-up, Talent, & Ascension materials in Genshin Impact

Kachina will be released alongside the Natlan update in late August, so the information below is based on what has been publicly shared by leakers. Changes may occur once the character has been officially released.

Kachina Level-up cost

Kachina needs the following materials to level up. While I always recommend maxing out every character's Ascension level, you can choose to keep them at level 80 if they don't use Elemental Mastery.

Kachina Ascension materials & cost

To fully Ascend Kachina, prepare 420,000 Mora and the following materials.

Local Specialty & Boss material

x168 Quenepa Berry

x46 Overripe Flamegranate

Kachina's local specialty and boss material can't be farmed until Natlan is released. From what we know from leaks, her local specialty is the Quenepa Berry and her boss material is the Overripe Flamegranate, which is allegedly dropped by a boss called the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King.

Kachina is a Geo character, so she can only use Geo gemstones. The Prithiva Topaz materials are dropped by all Geo Normal and World Bosses in Teyvat, regardless of region. Some bosses include the Geo Hypostasis, Experimental Field Generator, and Azhdaha. Alternatively, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to change the Element of any of your existing gemstones.

According to leaks, Kachina's common Ascension materials are whistles that can be farmed from sand warriors in Natlan. You can also purchase the Sentry's Wooden Whistle and Warrior's Metal Whistle from Paimon's Bargains, which resets monthly. They will be available from Version 5.0 onwards.

Kachina Talent level-up materials & cost

Prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all of Kachina's Talents to level 10. If you don't plan to triple-crown her, you will consume less resources.

Kachina's common Talent materials are the same as her Ascension requirements, so you'll have to farm for a ton of Whistles. If you run out of them in your World, you can visit a friend's World and farm but don't forget to ask for permission beforehand.

Weekly Boss material & Crown of Insight

x18 Fading Candle

Kachina's Weekly Boss material is the Fading Candle, which is dropped by The Knave Weekly Boss in Mont Esus East. You can only farm for three Weekly Boss materials per week. You'll also need one Crown of Insight for every Talent you wish to level to 10; it can only be obtained from major events that happen once per update.
