Genshin Impact Kinich farming guide – All Talent & Ascension materials

Kinich is a five-star Dendro claymore user who will make his debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 update. If you're interested in farming for him in advance, here's everything you need to collect according to leaked information.

Genshin Impact Kinich level-up, Talent, & Ascension materials

While you may be excited to farm for Kinich in advance, remember that the below is based on leaks and may not reflect Kinich's actual material requirements upon release. Keep the information with a grain of salt and know that there may be changes in the game once Version 5.0 is launched.

Kinich Level-up cost

You'll need Hero's Wit and Mora to level Kinich up to 80 or 90.

Kinich Ascension materials & cost

Collect 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Kinich to Ascension level six, which is the maximum possible.

Local Specialty & Boss material

x168 Saurian Claw Succulent

x46 Overripe Flamegranate

Kinich's local specialty and boss material are expected to be farmable in Natlan, the new region releasing alongside him in Version 5.0. Based on existing leaks, his local specialty is called the Saurian Claw Succulent. Meanwhile, his boss material is allegedly the Overripe Flamegranate, which may be farmed from the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King. These can't be pre-farmed, so you will have to wait until Version 5.0 to obtain them.

As a Dendro unit, Kinich needs Nagadus Emerald materials, which are dropped by all Dendro Normal, World, and Weekly Bosses, including, but not limited to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and Dendro Hypostasis. Additionally, it's possible to convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn any Elemental Gemstones into Dendro ones.

Kinich's common Ascension materials are allegedly the Juvenile, Seasoned, and Tyrant's Fangs, which can be obtained from various Saurian enemies in Natlan. The Juvenile Fang and Seasoned Fang can also be purchased from Paimon's Bargains in limited quantities per month from Version 5.0 onwards.

Kinich's Talent level-up materials & cost

Prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Kinich's Talents to level 10. It's not necessary to max out all of his Talents, so I suggest collecting these gradually as you build him.

Kinich's Talent books can be farmed from a dedicated Domain in Natlan from Version 5.0 onwards.

Common Ascension and Talent materials are always the same, so you'll have to farm extra Fangs to level up Kinich's Talents.

Weekly Boss material & Crown of Insight

Crowns of Insight are rare event rewards that can only be obtained from one major event per update. Meanwhile, leakers believe that Kinich's Weekly Boss material is the Denial and Judgment, which is dropped by The Knave in the Scattered Ruins Domain in Mont Esus East.
