How to get fowl in Genshin Impact

I hope nothing goes afoul!

Fowl is a cooking ingredient in Genshin Impact and can craft various recipes. There are multiple ways to get this material, but these can be grouped into two different methods—finding it in the wild or purchasing it.

There is only one NPC that sells fowl, and this is Draff, who resides in Springvale, Mondstadt. The other way would be to find it in the wild. These are the different ways to get fowl in the wild in Genshin Impact:

  • Hunting wild birds.
  • Completing expeditions in Windrise from Mondstadt or Nazuchi Beach in Inazuma.
  • Obtained randomly from chests, wooden crates, barrels, etc.

If you plan to hunt wild birds to build up your fowl stock, you will want to make sure you are using a bow character. This will make it easier as birds will attempt to fly away when you get near. Long-range skills also effectively pick off birds as they try to escape.

Once you have collected your fowl, you can use it in various cooking recipes. There are currently fifteen different recipes to cook with fowl, so you don't have to worry about getting tired of eating it!
