Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG brings together card game fans, offering a true TCG battle experience that can be played casually and competitively. In the heart of The Cat's Tail, players from all over Teyvat gather for sips and draws, and you can invite your favorite characters to come over for a duel. But first, you must offer them an elusive item called a Match Invitation Letter.

How to get more Match Invitation Letters for Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact

Match Invitation Letters are sparse resources, so you won't be able to invite every single character you want to duel with at the get-go. With some patience, you'll eventually be able to farm enough Letters through these means.

Increase Player Level

You can get Match Invitation Letters by increasing your Player Level. It's a guaranteed reward for levels 1 to 9, while Genshin Impact may continue providing more of this resource once more Player Levels are released. You can farm Player EXP by challenging NPCs in the open world and completing Tavern Challenges. Since Tavern Challenges are time-gated, you need some patience before farming up enough EXP to meet your Level goals.

Purchase from Card Shop

Speak to Prince in The Cat's Tail and select View the Card Shop's Commodities to access the Card Shop, a one-stop hub where you can purchase cards, cosmetics, and other TCG-related items. Under the Purchase Provisions section, you can buy Match Invitation Letters for x1,000 Lucky Coins each. You must be at least Player Level 2 to purchase this resource.

How to use Match Invitation Letter in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG

Head to The Cat's Tail and turn to the left of the reception desk, where you'll find a bulletin board on the wall. Interact with it and select Invite Character to open the player list, which consists of playable characters (including ones you don't own). Spend one Match Invitation Letter to invite a character for the first time. After doing so, the same character can be invited any number of times with no extra cost.

If you win a Friendly Fracas match and meet the challenge objectives, you'll get Character Cards and Action Cards related to the invited player.
