Who is Kamisato Ayato?

It's no secret that the Genshin Impact fan base loves to speculate about new characters, and Ayato has been on their radar for quite some time. The upcoming male character has a prestigious status in Inazuma but has yet to make an official appearance in the game.

Kamisato Ayato is the brother of Ayaka and the leader of the Yashiro Commission. His splash art revealed that he is a sword user. He also avoids the public eye and is said to be more skilled than Ayaka, who is another five-star character.

Ayato was revealed to be a hydro user and will likely be another DPS character, as his hydro blade is reminiscent of Tartaglia's.

When will Kamisato Ayato release?

Kamistato Ayato is going to be released in Version 2.6. He will also be featured in the game's story, as MiHoYo has previously stated that all character releases are timed around story events. Since The Chasm is also releasing, it will be intresting to see how his role in Genshin Impact pans out.
