Rockstar Games has rolled out the much anticipated Halloween update for GTA Online, bringing a new ghost-hunting event for the players. During this event, a client from Ghosts Exposed hires players to track down and photograph ten spooky Ghosts that haunt the GTA Online city. However, finding the ghosts in the vast GTA Online city is daunting, as they only appear at certain hours and locations. So here's a guide on how to find them.
Where to find every ghost in GTA Online
As mentioned earlier, you can find ten ghost locations, mostly in the Blaine County region of the northern map, while completing GTA Online’s Ghosts Exposed challenge. Once you find a ghost, press up on the d-pad to bring up your phone and select the Snapmatic app to capture its photograph.
Here's a detailed rundown of all the ten ghost-exposed locations in GTA Online:
Ghost location #1
- Location: Northwestern corner of Grapeseed
- Appearance time: 8pm to 9pm
Ghost location #2
- Location: Lesbos Lane inside the white caravan.
- Appearance time: 10pm to 11pm
Ghost location #3
- Location: Sandy Shores near a school bus.
- Appearance time: 11pm to 12am
Ghost location #4
- Location: Mount Gordo
- Appearance time: 12am to 1am
Ghost location #5
- Location: Inside barn house
- Appearance time: 1am to 2am
Ghost location #6
- Location: Mount Josiah, right next to the broken fence
- Appearance time: 2am to 3am

- Location: Paleto Bay, inside a broken wooden house
- Appearance time: 3am to 4am
Ghost location #8
- Location: Tongva Hills on the top of the waterfall
- Appearance time: 4am to 5am
Ghost location #9
- Location: Raton Canyon, standing on top of the railway tunnel
- Appearance time: 5am to 6am
Ghost location #10
- Location: In front of the Sandy Shores sign board
- Appearance time: 12am to 1am
- Please note: This ghost only appears after finding all of the aforementioned ghosts.
GTA Online Ghost Exposed rewards
You will get GTA$ 20,000 and 5,000 RP for each ghost you find, followed by an additional bonus of GTA$ 50,000 if you find all ten ghosts during the GTA Online Ghost Exposed event. Apart from this, you will also unlock a spooky Ghosts Exposed livery for the Albany Brigham, a classic sedan that you can buy from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
