How to turn on a vehicle siren in GTA 3 – The Definitive Edition

Have you ever wanted to become a cop or a paramedic in GTA? Well, in Grand Theft Auto 3 - The Definitive Edition, you can—while also earning a little extra cash on the side. But in order to best use these vehicles to navigate the city, you got to light up those sirens. Here's how.

The control scheme has been modernized to match the current GTA controls. But whether you use the new controls or the original ones, turning on the siren in these special vehicles is still the same.

To turn on the siren is the same way you honk the horn in a normal car. On consoles, pressing down on the Left Analog Stick will turn on the sirens and lights.

However, on PC the standard controls for turning on the siren is Left or Right Shift. Of course on PC, controls can easily be remapped to whatever works best for you.

Turing on the sirens will create an easier experience for navigating around the city. Cars will pull over and stop for you to pass and bystanders will move well out of your way.
