Clash of Clans is a fun experience by yourself, but it can arguably be better with friends or other players. Luckily, the game allows you to play with other players via clans, so here is how to find a clan in the game.
How to join a clan in Clash of Clans
There are a number of ways in which you can find clans to join in the game. But before you are able to find and join a clan you will need to rebuild your clan castle for 10,000 gold.
You can repair your castle by tapping on it and then spending 10,000 gold to repair it. After this, the function to join clans will be unlocked. To access clans:
- Hit the blue gear icon on the top right of your screen.
After this you will be able to use the in-game search setting to find clans to join. Before doing this we recommend setting the search to only Clans I Can Join.
Along with this, you were once able to take a more direct approach and simply post that you are looking for a clan in global chat. However, since 2019 this function was removed so now the only in-game option to find clans is via the in-game search.
Beyond the in-game functions, you can also try looking outside of the game through various community websites such as the Clash of Clans Reddit or the official forums. It might take a bit for you to find a clan but if you keep trying one of these methods, sooner or later you will find a clan to join.
