If you want to make a unique dragur bow in Valheim, you will need to get guck. But what is guck, and how do you even get it?
Where to find Guck In Valheim
To get guck in Valheim, you must take a trip down to the swamp biome; there, you can find it glowing in certain trees. However, to get the guck out of these trees is a bit tricky, as unlike most trees in the game, you can't chop these down.
Instead of chopping these trees down, you will need to build a workbench and then build up to them with floors and stairs. Once you get close, you will be able to harvest the guck with an axe. After gathering the guck, you will be able to craft the following items below, including the draugr fang bow.
What you can craft with guck in Valheim:
- Dragur Fang Bow:
- Ten Ancient Bark: You can get this from chopping ancient trees in the swamp.
- 20 Sliver: You will need to get a wishbone from the Bonemass boss to find sliver in the mountain biome.
- 2 Deer Hide
- 10 Guck
- Green Banner
- Two Finewood
- Six Leather Scraps: Get these from killing boars in the meadows biome.
- One Guck
- Green Iron Standing Torch
- Two Iron
- Two Guck
Overall, guck is not the most useful resource to get. It's because there are not many crafting recipes other than the three we have listed here; nonetheless, we still recommend getting guck for the dragur bow alone, as it is a decent and powerful bow with poison damage.
As a side note, If you plan on heading into the swamp make sure to stock up on poison resistance mead, and make sure to clear the area you plan to build in of any monsters before getting to work; you don't want to get a back full of dragur arrows, trust me.
