If you don’t have a Quantum character in your arsenal just yet, I highly recommend you pull for Silver Wolf. She deals decent damage and provides great debuff support—just like Pela! But her kit can be a little confusing, so here’s a quick guide to building her in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best Light Cones for Silver Wolf in Honkai Star Rail
You can build Silver Wolf to be a sub-damage dealer or pure support. Depending on your choice, the best Light Cone(s) for her are:
- In the Name of the World: Increases Silver Wolf’s DMG to debuffed enemies. When she uses her Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for her attack(s) as well as her ATK stat increases.
- Incessant Rain: Increases Silver Wolf’s Effect Hit Rate. When she deals DMG to an enemy that has three or more debuffs, her Crit Rate is boosted. All enemies she hits with her attacks have a chance of being inflicted with “Aether Code”—a debuff that makes them receive more DMG. This is her banner Light Cone.
- Good Night and Sleep Well: For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by Silver Wolf increases, stacking up to three times. This effect also applies to DoT.
Best free-to-play Light Cone for Silver Wolf
If you don’t have any of the above, the following Light Cones can do the job temporarily:
- Before the Tutorial Mission Starts: Increases Silver Wolf's Effect Hit Rate by 40% (on Superimposition 5). She regenerates energy when attacking enemies with reduced DEF. You can get this Light Cone from the Starhunt Game event.
- Hidden Shadow (for DPS build): After using her Skill, Silver Wolf’s next Basic ATK deals 60-120% of ATK as additional DMG to her target enemy.
- Void (for support build): At the start of the battle, Silver Wolf’s Effect Hit Rate increases by 20-40% for three turns.
Best Relics for Silver Wolf in Honkai Star Rail
Silver Wolf already has a ton of Trace nodes that can boost her Effect Hit Rate, so you can focus on other stats to boost with it as well. For Relic sets, however, there is only one answer:
- Genius of Brilliant Stars
- Two-piece bonus: Increases Quantum DMG by 10%.
- Four-piece bonus: When Silver Wolf deals DMG to an enemy, ignores 10% of its DEF. If the enemy is weak to Quantum, she can ignore an additional 10%.
A four-piece Genius of Brilliant Stars set is the only option to fully utilize Silver Wolf’s “let’s add an enemy weakness” skill. Most of the time, it’s Quantum that gets added too—but I’m not sure if it’s just my RNG carrying my battles.
Which of Silver Wolf’s stats should you boost?
Put SPD on feet and Crit Rate/Effect Hit Rate on Body (but I prefer Crit Rate for the added DMG). For substats, be sure you’re stacking Effect Hit Rate, ATK, and Crit Rate/DMG wherever you can.
Best Planar Ornaments for Silver Wolf in Honkai Star Rail
With Quantum DMG Boost as its main stat, equip the following Planar Ornament sets:
- Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise (Preferred): Increases Silver Wolf’s Effect Hit Rate by 10%. Her ATK increases by 25% of her current Effect Hit Rate, until to a max of 25%.
- Space Sealing Station: Increases Silver Wolf's ATK by 12%. When her SPD reaches 120 or more, it increases by another 12%.

Silver Wolf’s Path and Element in Silver Wolf Star Rail
Silver Wolf is a Quantum character of the Nihility Path. People of the Nihility Path inflict enemy debuffs, making them a versatile character. I have Pela built for this exact reason. Silver Wolf does ATK, DEF, and SPD debuffs, so she’s (to me) a combination of everything good about Welt and Pela. Pull for her if you don’t have both.
Best Teammates for Silver Wolf
Silver Wolf synergy is good with any member of the team. Her debuffs are universal (ATK, DEF, and SPD). She’s fun to bring with Hunt characters like Dan Heng and Sushang, as well as other Nihility characters like Welt. Enemies will never get a turn!
